The manual Elmendorf Tearing Tester offers an economical alternative to the electronic PowerTear. 

Simple to Operate

 

  • Sample loads easily and securely into the dual screw clamps

  • The initial tear in the sample is made by pulling the lever attached to the cut blade

  • Pendulum is set securely in place until operator releases it with a push of a finger

Versatile

 

Interchangeable pendulums and weights ranging from 8,000 to 64,000 Millinewtons (mN) can be selected separately for multiple test method compliance.
